The successful candidate will be part of the Operations Team (OPS) Team from our Services Department (comprises of 30 persons) and will primarily support the operations preparation and execution of payloads on the ISS as well as the ground segment maintenance.

The candidate will mainly report to the Operations Team Lead .

As of May 2024 Tasks and Responsibilities Understand the scientific objectives and the design of the mission experiments Develop and validate:

Mission/Payload Operations Concept Operations products, such as Crew and ground procedures, Monitoring Displays, console manual, etc Develop and follow-up of Mission Timeline Organise mission dry runs or mission simulations, including the participation of the science teams Participate to:

Regular meetings with the mission stakeholders Overall payload operations execution, including shift work and regular on-call Maintain the ground infrastructure (preventive and corrective maintenance) Coordinate the verification and validation activities of the ground segment infrastructure Troubleshoot and follow-up of anomalies affecting the ground services to the mission Support development of software tools.

Skills and Experience A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Sciences or Computer Sciences Experience with/in:

System administration tasks, especially related to Linux and networking Documentation and/or procedure writing in English Excellent organisational and communications skills in English (spoken, written) Polyvalent, stress-resistant and problem-solving attitude.

Considered as Assets Experience with/in:

Operations and/or operations engineering Information Security Technologies with relevant certification(s) Programming (Linux shell scripting, Java, C++ are preferred languages) Knowledge or prior experience with ground segments or mission control systems.
