The Grid Department is responsible for managing Fluxys Belgium's transmission system, ensuring the supply of gas to end-users at all times and guaranteeing the safety of facilities, the environment and employees.
More specifically, the department's work encompasses the inspection, operation and maintenance of the pipeline network and associated facilities, such as valve junctions and pressure-reducing stations.
The Grid Department is divided into five geographical areas, with technical and administrative support provided by central teams.
