Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, and deliver target operating models for mission-critical applications.Contribute to solution architecture, prioritizing automation, infrastructure as code, and observability.Define and document principles, requirements, and pertinent architecture patterns.Craft operationsarchitecture roadmaps and robust plans.Offer expertise and guidance in implementing end-to-end IT operationssolutions.Participate actively in solution initiatives, representing operational principles and requirements.Continuously explore new approaches, lending expertise on emerging trends and technologies.Drive enhancements in operations and SRE, championing improvements in monitoring, incident management, and beyond.Collaborate seamlessly within the solution architecture team, sharing insights and amplifying collective knowledge.
Location:
Based in Brussels, this role offers a hybrid work model with remote flexibility.
While remote, a minimum presence of 2 weeks per month in the office is expected initially, subject to revision after the initial 6 months.Required Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrable expertise in similar roles, showcasing a minimum of 10 years in operationsarchitecture and management.Profound proficiency in SRE/Operations principles, DevOps, and DevSecOps.Hands-on experience in cloud-native environments, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD.Command over key technologies/products such as Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Azure, Jenkins, Terraform, among others.Track record in IT operations transformation within large organizations offering mission-critical services.Strong grasp of security principles; familiarity with Archimate standard is advantageous.Relevant Master's degree or equivalent work experience in architecture design, computer science, or related fields.Aptitude to distill complex ideas into compelling concepts for diverse stakeholders.Strong communication skills, adapting seamlessly to various audiences, including top management and IT professionals.Flexibility for Belgium-based work or regular travel to Belgium for customer interactions.Desirable experience in process mapping standards like UML and BPMN.
