RANDEurope has offices in Cambridge, Brussels, and the Netherlands, and employs approximately 170 staff. We are now looking to recruit an exceptional OfficeAdministrator on a part time basis for our Brusselsoffice.
The OfficeAdministrator is responsible for day-to-day support of RANDEurope’s Brusselsoffice and provides administrative support across all areas of company operations.
They report to RANDEurope’s UK-based Office Manager but liaise closely with other colleagues across our support functions, including the HR Manager.
We are looking for someone to work 20 hours per week, ideally between the hours of 10.00 – 14.00, although we can be flexible on times.
The successful candidate will be required to be office based for four days a week and willing to be flexible to accommodate business needs.
Key Responsibilities Office administration Oversees day-to-day office operations Maintains relationships with providers of external office services including post and couriers, travel agents and catering suppliers Manages procurement of stationery and office supplies Oversees processes relating to office visitors Acts as principal First Aider, Mental Health First Aider and Fire Warden for the Brusselsoffice Supports organisation of staff meetings, internal seminars, and external events Facilities administration Maintains condition of Brusselsoffice, including oversight of repairs to the office fabric and equipment Maintains relationships with providers of external services, including office cleaners and maintenance contractors for Brusselsoffices Oversees physical security of premises Liaises with RANDEuropeOffice Manager and external advisors to help ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation in Belgium Member of RANDEurope H&S Committee and provides input to reviews and updates of health and safety policies People administration Supports recruitment drives by providing local logistical support to the RANDEurope Recruitment Partner when required Works with HR colleagues to ensure that the employment relationship for Brussels based staff has local support from induction to exit Liaises with RANDEurope HR Manager, external advisors and official bodies to help ensure compliance with Belgium employment legislation General Ensures role related information is up to date on the company intranet Supports compliance with our ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 27001 Information Security Management accreditations Complies with all company policies and RANDEurope Management Systems Provides ah-hoc support to colleagues in our small Rotterdam office Supports on other reasonable management requests as required Requirements Strong administrative skills Knowledge of office and facilities administration Some experience of Health and Safety in the workplace Fluent in English and Dutch (with the addition of French an advantage) Good communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to interact with and support colleagues across other countries Basic MS Excel and Word Salary Starting from €16,000 per annum (€32,000 FTE) - inclusive of 13th month and holiday pay Benefits Pension - 7% employer contribution on top of statutory contributions; 20 days Annual Leave and 12 days Recuperation leave Insurance cover for Hospitalisation costs; Full pay sickness for absence up to 1 month; Income protection of 75% salary after 6 months of absence; Meal vouchers; Eco vouchers; Travel to work allowance; Daily allowance for working away; Group Life Assurance; Flexible working hours; Learning and development opportunities; Employee wellbeing training; Service awards.
