Be a scientific expert in the field with a focus on engaging in high-level exchange, on building and maintaining long term peer-to-peer relationship with external experts and on understanding and uncovering unmet medical needs and on generating relevant insights.
You will report directly into the Medical Affairs Lead Respiratory.Develop the medical field strategy and its implementation within the framework of the brand plan and transform health care delivery.
Building peer level relationships with key external experts to support understanding of the Belux market & clinical dynamics and to engage with the medical / scientific community in a highly credible, balanced, and objective manner, representing AstraZeneca’s dedication to and excellence in science.Work together with Marketing & Sales and other functions on field-related medical issues thus helping support the respiratory compounds during the entire lifecycle, as well as supporting local, regional and global AstraZeneca clinical research program and externally sponsored research projects.Build meaningful healthcare system partnerships to drive practice change initiatives and provide medical-scientific expertise to medical and cross-functional activities that improve disease management and patient outcomes.Skills and experiencesProfessional experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry or customer engaging positions, preferentially as MSL or within Medical Affairs but not limitedMaster's degree in a health-related scientific fieldProficiency in French and English (Dutch nice to have)Good understanding of asthma will be an advantageStrong communication and presentation skills to various audiencesActive driving licenseWe offer..
