- Select and assemble stock for shipment, assuring outgoing items are properly marked, tagged, or labeled.

Load trucks or freight cars.


- Select and set up proper storage areas for items within the general warehousing plan considering size, shape, quantity, use, expiration dates, and possibility of damages, deterioration, and contamination to or from other items.


- Conduct inventories.


- Operate electric/diesel forklifts to load and unload, relocate and palletize items.


- Operate trucks to pick up and deliver stock.

Qualifikationsanforderungen • PROFILE Applicants must demonstrate one year of professional experience in related field.

Applicants must possess a valid European driving license B and C.

• KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSAs)
- Knowledge of the overall warehousing plan and accepted warehousing methods, procedures, and techniques to select proper storage location and store, stock, and palletize items in consideration of size, shape, and quantity.


- Ability to read technical manuals in English.


- Ability to apply safety rules.


- Ability to observe work rules and regulations strictly.

Beschäftigungsbedingungen • ORGANIZATION AND PLACE OF DUTY US Army in Belgium is an American government agency whose mission is to provide logistical and administrative support to the US personnel at NATO and SHAPE in Belgium.

The vacancy is at the 405th Army Field Support Brigade, Zutendaal, Belgium.

The 405th AFSB is the headquarters of the U.S.

Army Materiel Command in Europe, responsible for all logistics, acquisition and technology activities in the European theater.

• DESCRIPTION OF THE OFFER
- This announcement may be used for multiple positions.


- Permanent, full-time.


- Regular work schedule (Monday through Friday).


- Salary:

from 2,251.17 EUR gross/month
- Position may require the employee to temporarily go and exercise similar work in Europe to assist the general mission of the US Army.

The frequency of those temporary missions would be once or twice a year for a duration each of 3 to 4 weeks.
