To support our continued growth, we are looking for a:
MaskdataEngineer - IntegratedPhotonics Tasks Mask Frame and Layout:
Develop and optimise mask frame based on layouts, ensuring alignment with lithography requirements and process capabilities.
Data Preparation:
Convert photonic IC design data into maskdata, including layer generation, OPC (Optical Proximity Correction), and layer translation, ensuring high precision and compatibility with lithography equipment.
Verification and Validation:
Perform rigorous checks on maskdata using tools such as DRC (Design Rule Checking) and LVS (Layout vs.
Schematic) to identify and work with the customer to correct.
OPC Optimization:
Apply optical proximity correction techniques to the mask design to compensate for optical distortions and ensure pattern fidelity in the photolithography process.
Collaboration with Design and Fabrication Teams:
Work closely with photonic IC design engineers and fabrication teams to understand design intents and process limitations, ensuring maskdata is optimised for both.
Process Improvement:
Continuously seek ways to improve maskdata preparation processes, including automation of repetitive tasks, enhancement of data accuracy, and reduction of turnaround times.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of maskdata preparation processes and procedures, and prepare reports on process metrics and performance.
Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field Experience in frame design, data preparation, and verification in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with EDA tools used in maskdata preparation, preference on Mentor, Synopsys Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation and process efficiency Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, especially photolithography Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Attention to detail and commitment to achieving high-quality outcomes.
Benefits A flexible and dynamic start-up work environment A highly international, diverse and highly motivated team Personal responsibility in your job and the chance to grow with us Our passion to bring PICs to everyday life.
We look forward to receiving your full application including 1) your CV, 2) a statement of interest (relating the position to your skills) and 3) grade or work certificates.
