You will be working as a ManagingConsultant for our Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change (CS&CC) team in Belgium.As our new colleague, you will work on challenging projects with a focus on how companies report on their business activities.
However, we also have experts focused on topics such as ESG strategy, impact measurement, and human rights, giving you the possibility to engage in the full range of our corporate sustainability-related services.
We have a diverse client base which includes corporates across most sectors, as well as financial and government institutions.Role responsibilitiesAs a ManagingConsultant, you will play an active role in project management, client relationship management, and business development activities.
You will be responsible for both managing and delivering larger projects focused on corporate sustainability reporting as well as sourcing new clients and projects for this service (e.g.
CSRD, double materiality, EU Taxonomy, and other reporting frameworks).
In your projects, you will manage a project team and provide guidance to junior colleagues, ensuring realistic planning, good communication with the client and team, and pursuing and monitoring the quality of service.
You will work on a strategic level together with the client to understand their needs and identify how our teams can offer them solutions.Internally, you will work together with the team to identify how we can build on our current services to help our team and clients create the most impact possible.
This will include connecting your expertise and that of your team members to our potential new services and clients.
You will work with experts all over the globe, and cross-collaborate with other teams in EMEA.Who are you?You are someone who loves working in a team environment and knows how to manage multiple (client) projects.
Corporate sustainability interests you, and you want to positively impact the world with your work.
You are proactive, know how to engage people, and are constantly looking to improve our team’s abilities and connection, but also our service.
Other important qualities can include:
Advisory skills such as analytical thinking, flexibility, and 360-degree communication;Relevant experience in consulting and/or in corporate sustainability (e.g.
at an accountancy firm or in a CSR team);Experience with managing mid-to-large-sized projects and knowledge on how to manage and deliver multiple tasks simultaneously based on their different deadlines and requirements;People management skills, with a focus on well-being, both in a project team and broader team context;Fluent in both French or Dutch and English (oral & written);Knowledge of corporate sustainability reporting regulations and frameworks (such as EU Taxonomy, CSRD, SFDR, TCFD, SASB, GRI) and are aware of developments in the field, such as those around ESG strategy and carbon accounting (GHG Protocol, SBTi) and corporate due diligence (social impact scans, impact measurement).Don’t become discouraged by all the competencies we are looking for.
Of course, you don't have to excel in every one of the above.
