Description As Manager of the Production Department, you are responsible for the production department and the productionmanagers; you are responsible for the management and organization of the production department and for supervising the productionmanagers; You manage and ensure the daily follow-up of the production files, taking into account the legal directives, with respect for quality, service and deadlines; You are responsible for the administrative preparation of policies and inserts to ensure correct administration and satisfied customers; You prepare standard quotes and policy inserts at the request of brokers, policyholders or at the initiative of the insurance company.
You follow up on these quotations; You ensure compliance with insurance coverage rules; You advise, motivate and coach the file/productionmanagers; You ensure that the insurance premiums issued are correct and follow up on payments; You follow up the invoicing, as well as the link between the policies and the orders indicated in them; You gather information, analyze and answer questions from insureds and brokers regarding conditions and rates (in accordance with the insurance company's underwriting requirements); You respond to the needs of the customers; you offer standard insurance covers that comply with the regulations and guidelines as well as determining the premiums and acceptance conditions; You handle cancellations, suspensions, cancellations and check premiums to ensure proper policy management; If necessary, you deliver provisional cover (within the framework of the rules imposed by the company).
You issue provisional premiums, track premium refunds and pay out amounts due at short notice to meet clients' needs; Developing quantitative and qualitative tools as well as taking corrective measures ifv the evaluation of the operation of the service; Complaint handling; You implement and update the management procedure.
You optimize the policy management program; Reporting to the Sales & ProductionManager.
Profile Bachelor's or master's degree in insurance, law, economics, business administration or a relevant field At least 3 years of experience in the insurance industry (extensive knowledge of insurance products, processes and systems) Ideally experience in a management position within an insurance office or similar financial environment Good knowledge of MS Office Strongly analytical, solution-oriented, customer-oriented, accurate, eye for detail, communicative, deadline-oriented, organized, good at planning, strong people management skills Language skills:
very good knowledge of Dutch and French.
