In the Clinical Supply Chain - DigitalSolutions department we manage the digital landscape of our Clinical Supply Chain to provide Hope in a Box to patients.
To progress the digital capabilities for AdvancedTherapies, we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual as Manager - DigitalSolutions - AdvancedTherapies, who shares our ambition to become a digital and data-led organization developing break-through therapeutics.
This role is based in Beerse, Belgium.
Key Responsibilities:
* As a member of the DigitalSolutions leadership team, drive the strategy and implementation of fit-for-purpose digital systems & data solutions for cell and gene therapies and radiopharmaceuticals, including patient scheduling solutions, Chain of Custody/Chain of Identity (CoC/CoI), and relevant SAP processes and ensure an end-to-end 'digital thread'.
* Partner with peers in Clinical Supply Chain, clinical operations teams, commercial Suppy Chain, IT and relevant technology providers to deploy digitalsolutions to participating clinics and throughout the end-to-end supply chain nodes.
* Define multi-year capability, technology and investment roadmaps; drive adoption and business value realization.
* Act as business owner of systems in scope, ensure robust support / incident management processes for relevant systems are in place and ensure validated state of the systems.
Manage relevant technology and service suppliers and related budget.
* Actively network within the industry to proactively benchmark, exchange knowledge, design and build industry solutions.
Education:
* Bachelor or master's degree in Engineering, Biology/Chemistry, or Information Technology, or equivalent or comparable by experience.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
* Minimum of 8Y experience in implementation or advanced use of (clinical) supply chain systems in life sciences (R&D or commercial), including deployment, end-user training, development of training material and relevant SOP's.
* Organizational and project management skills, balancing multiple complex projects with effective customer management.
* Ability to work in a creative and innovative development organization, that requires short timelines and high flexibility in combination with high accuracy.
* Experience in GxP, privacy regulations, data integrity and system/tools validation approach (SDLC).
* Strong influencing skills, with the ability to understand issues from multiple viewpoints.
Preferred:
* Operational experience in clinical trials with a pharmaceutical company and/or a Clinical Research Organization (CRO), or in the use of clinic-facing technology, e.g.
* Experience with planning and logistics technology platforms, SAP.
* Knowledge of clinical development processes.
* PMI or equivalent certification.
* APICS CSCP certification.
