Key Responsibilities:
Daily oversight of transportation network (EU International & Domestic).Point of contact for shipment/carrier issues in EU.Manage key escalations from customer/Field Service Operations/Global Customer Contact Centre on timely basis.
Expedite carrier recovery on customer tool down situation.
Provide guidance to others.
Correct carrier defect in major event impacting customer.Project Manage assigned portion of new carrier RFP's and onboarding.Carrier performance management - proactively review carrier defect analysis and improve on-time performance.Manage mid/complex level initiatives and projects.Provide guidance to extended Team members.Ensure 8D's (Eight Disciplines Methodology) are requested & appropriate corrective actions are in place for significant and/or ongoing transportation issues.What we are looking for in a TransportationManager:
A strong knowledge of LogisticsTransportation Management.Analytics based decision making experience.The ability to work independently but also part of a global team.Ability to act as a resource for colleagues with less experience; in this role you may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.Project Management experience.Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.Customer Management.Strong Excel SkillsSome working knowledge of SAP.Education:
Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline.Experience:
