The OpportunityWe’re looking for a Legal Counsel to join our team in Stockhom, Sweden.

The Legal Counsel will be reporting to the Associate General Counsel & DPO and will support Planview and its affiliates in EMEA in matters relating to the drafting and negotiating of inbound and outbound technology agreements, with an emphasis on Planview’s SaaS subscription agreements, as well as data privacy and security.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated relevant experience, excellent credentials, and be prepared to work collaboratively with colleagues spanning the organization on a wide variety of matters.

What You'll DoProactively draft and negotiate a variety of software and SaaS subscription agreements, and sales channel and strategic alliances agreements for customers in EMEAUpdate DPA contract templates to ensure compliance and enforceability in Planview’s primary marketsDraft and negotiate a variety of inbound vendor, licensing, and services agreements for Planview’s EMEA affiliatesDevelop and maintain a strong in-depth knowledge of the products, services and business strategies and objectives of the companySupport the DPO and business leaders across the company, providing timely and practical day-to-day advice and guidance on data privacy and security legislation and best practices, including reviewing RFP responses, DPAs, BAAs, and customer privacy and security requirementsBe EMEA point of contact for other items related to legal, compliance, legislation and work Note that EMEA is a broad geography and any one person won’t be expected to be well-versed with legal legislation for the entire region.

They would quite often consult with external legal counsel.

What You'll BringLL.B/LL.M from a premier law school or university in EuropeHave at least 3-5 years of relevant in-house or at law firm legal experience with technology companies, with a proven track record in providing legal advisory and drafting legal documentation pertaining to commercial technology law areasStrong background and knowledge of EMEA privacy and security mattersKey experience required:

Good knowledge in cloud computing, online, web and enterprise application services SaaS licensing and contracting agreements Data privacy regulations and data protection agreementsNegotiating deals with large, global enterprise customersMust be a self-starter, exhibiting high motivation, sense of urgency, commitment and ownershipHave the ability to set priorities and comfortably work in an intensely timeline-oriented environmentHave high integrity, collaborative communication and interpersonal skillsHave a global mindset and experience working with multiple regions and time zones Needs to be confident, dynamic and have a proactive dispositionPossess excellent English language skills, spoken and writtenWork within an inclusive working environmentIn addition, we believe the candidate should possess the following:
