Responsibilities:
Development and evaluation of the basic concept of new projects, translating them into concrete designs within predetermined timeframes and budgets.
Ensuring that designs align with Agfa Gevaert's standards, including DFM, DFS, safety, and environmental considerations.
Providing technical and conceptual support to the team.
Taking ultimate responsibility for the quality of designs, overseeing overall design, problem identification, and proposed solutions.
Representing the team in various project meetings and product groups.
Desired Profile:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
Passion for mechanical design and a drive to balance quality with time and costs.
Willingness to learn Creo Parametric and Windchill.
Strong analytical skills, capable of analyzing complex processes and placing problems in the correct context.
Excellent team player with experience in multidisciplinary teamwork.
Outstanding communication skills, fluent in both Dutch and English.
