Handle laboratory animals with care and in compliance with ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to daily laboratory management, including inventory management, equipment maintenance.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date laboratory records using an electronic lab notebook system, reports and presentations.
Collect samples (blood, tumors and organs)and prepare them for FACS and molecular analysis.
Collaborate with fellow researchers to plan and execute experiments effectively.
Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laboratory workspace.
ProfileBachelor's degree in laboratory technology, biotechnology, life sciences or related field.
FELASA B certificate Experience working with laboratory mice preferably in an oncology research setting.
Proficiency in mice handling techniques, including injections, blood collection and tissue sampling.
Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques and procedures Experience with FACS staining and acquisition and/or in histology (e.g.
tissue processing, immunostaining, and imaging) will be an advantage.
Fluency in English (verbally and in writing) is mandatory.
Must be legally eligible to work in Belgium.
