Streamlining and bringing in-house the production and proficiency testing (ring tests) of reference standards.Liaising regularly with Eurofins Technologies and ESS (Eurofins Internal Glassware and plasticware in the USA).Working with OBP programme to drive standardisation of consumables for each method and centralised purchasing and, as needed, preparation of standards for pesticides and contaminants (GC, LC).Rationalising and negotiating participation in proficiency testing schemes.QualificationsEducation:
Engineering, Science or Business degree from a top university.Languages:
Excellent oral and written English is a must.
Other languages are highly appreciated.Technical knowledge IT:
MS Office products, Access DB a plus.Personal skills:
Strong interpersonal skills (e.g.
oral and written communication, presentation skills), as this role will often interface with local resources and experts to understand and document processes.
Ability to define concepts, align them with key stakeholders in different countries, and describe them clearly and concisely.
Strong problem-solver with can-do mentality.
