We are currently seeking a bright, highly skilled and motivated JuniorGeotechnicalConsultant.
The successful candidate will join our marine geo-consulting division and will be involved in a variety of projects in the oil and gas and offshore renewable energy sectors.Job SummaryThe key roles and responsibilities associated with this position include:
Perform geotechnical analysis and data interpretation, provide geotechnical advice, prepare and oversee reports for multiple projects and clients under supervision of senior staff.Assist Senior GeotechnicalConsultant(s) and/or Business Development Manager with the promotion of our engineering capabilities.
This may include active participation in marketing and business development initiatives (e.g.
development of marketing materials, writing papers, attending and/or speaking at selected conferences, visiting clients, etc).Assist other professionals with the preparation of proposals.Observe and follow all company safety rules and procedures.Key SkillsApplicants will have demonstrable excellent technical, organizational and communication skills, with a desire to continually learn and develop.
The key requirements are:
Have solid background in geotechnical engineering (MSc or PhD in geotechnical engineering) and strong analytical skills.Excellent written and verbal English skills.
