Curious what interesting projects we have at the moment? Within Sabca we currently have 3 very interesting internship programs.

One is around design office continuous improvement and 2 others are around actuation systems.

1) Design office continuous improvement Discover the fascinating world of aerospace design! Join our 40+ engineers of our actuation systems design office in your first-ever professional internship.

In this short internship (ideal duration:

2 months), you will support the continuous improvement of the design office.

Your tasks might include :

deployment of a software computation/design tool or one of its unused functionalities automation of design tasks issuing of design procedures, etc.

Cooperate and take responsibility at its level regarding ISO Your profile :

All engineering disciplines of actuation systems are needed:

mechanical, electronics, hydraulics, electromechanical, software, microelectronics, and system engineering.

This internship is made for you if you want to have a look at the inner workings of large engineering organisations, how aerospace development is structured, and what it is to work in an engineering field where safety and rigor is paramount.

It is ideally suited for bachelor’s in engineering who seek a first internship during the early phases of their master’s degree in engineering.

Location The internship location is on our Brussels site, easily accessible from public transportation (bus, tram, or train).

Languages English is required, but most of our specialists speak also French or Dutch.

2) Internship:

actuation systems advanced concepts Discover the fascinating world of aerospace design! Join our 40+ engineers of our actuation systems design office for honing you engineering skills.

In this extended internship (ideal duration:

5 months), you will be tasked to explore advanced concepts for actuation systems Your tasks might include:

Prospective new technology, new business line, technologies for cost reduction, etc.

Mature the subject via studies and a proof of concept.

The subjects can be generalist in nature (mechatronics/system) or for specialists (mechanics, electronics, software, microelectronics).

Cooperate and take responsibility at its level regarding ISO Your profile This internship is made for you if you want to apply your hard-earned engineering skills on aerospace projects.

It is ideally suited for students in or nearing their last year of a master’s degree in engineering.

It is an ideal steppingstone for starting an engineering career in a design office.

Location The internship location is on our Brussels site, easily accessible from public transportation (bus, tram, or train).

Languages English is required, but most of our engineers also speak French or Dutch.

3) Actuation systems prototypes and tests Discover the fascinating world of aerospace testing! Join our 40+ engineers of our actuation systems design office for honing your applied engineering skills.

In this extended internship (ideal duration:

5 months), you will be tasked to support our development test team in their activities Your tasks might include :

design of ad-hoc test benches and bays manufacturing of prototypes automation of tests or assembly cooperate and take responsibility at its level regarding ISO The subjects require broad, applied mechatronics engineering knowledge, and a penchant for getting your hands dirty on the material.

Your profile This internship is made for you if you are eager to apply your hard-earned engineering skills on practical realizations.

It is ideally suited for students in or nearing their last year of a master’s degree in engineering.

It is an ideal steppingstone for starting a career as a production engineer.

Location The internship location is on our Brussels site, easily accessible from public transportation (bus, tram, or train).

Languages English is required, but most of our specialists speak also French or Dutch.
