The Staatliche Studienakademie Dresden would like to fill the following position for the supervision of its computer science laboratories at the earliest possible date with a weekly working time of 40 hours on a permanent basis.
Computer Science Laboratory Engineer (m/f/d) (Pay grade E 11 TV-L) According to Section 18 (4) of the Saxon University of Cooperative Education Act, laboratory engineers provide services for the practical implementation of teaching.
Their area of responsibility includes:
Administration of selected hardware in the IT labs (e.g.
mobile devices and mini-computers in the IoT and IT security lab) Administration and support of software in the IT labs (e.g.
development environments, virtual machines, databases and software for business intelligence, data analytics and machine learning) Preparation of courses and exercises related to business informatics (WI), media informatics (MI) and information technology (IT) Supervision of selected exercise units of WI, MI and IT in the laboratories Cooperation and communication with the computer center Requirements:
A successfully completed degree (Bachelor's, Diplom-Inf.
or equivalent) in a computer science subject (e.g.
computer science, business informatics or similar) Strong communication and teamwork skills Confident handling of software development and administration tools under Windows, Linux and macOS Knowledge of AR and VR technologies as well as audio and video technology Very good written and spoken German, knowledge of English is an advantage Self-organized, independent and results-oriented way of working The place of work is the Staatliche Studienakademie Dresden.
This position is remunerated according to the collective agreement of the federal states (TV-L) in pay group 11.
