As IT TechnologyLead, you will be responsible for overseeing the work of the development teams, and act as a bridge between teams such as Security, Architecture and Release Management/DevOps.You'll offer advise for the technical direction of the Technology Roadmap and expertise in relevant technologies.More concretely, your tasks will be:
Propose improvements in the existing applications within DKV Belgium so as to reduce their Total Cost of OwnershipAdvise teams in technical & project delivery roadmap decisionsContribute to and Validate Low Level Design and specification of requests for IT developmentTroubleshoot and identify systems problemsDetermine Standard Guidelines and way of working for the development teamsManage the IT Change Advisory Board communityIdentify risks and form contingency plans as soon as possibleConduct security audits to identify areas of improvementsAdvise and support in the development and implementation of the Technology RoadmapAnalyze and advise on bugs in applicationsAnalyze root causes of frequent problems and propose fundamental solutions or workarounds(Help to) implement approved improvementsMaintain technical documentation Requirements:
You obtained a bachelor or masters degree within an IT-related field, or similar by experience, and have +10 years professional experience within different companies and IT landscapesYou are fluent in English and at least one of the two national languages (Dutch or French)You have a broad technical knowledge, with especially a strong technical backgrond within Java (preferably Spring) and an expertise in building API's and Domain Driven Design/Event Driven Architecture solutions, knowledge within React is certainly an advantage You have strong communication skills, you know how to adapt your communication in function of your stakeholder You are a real teamplayer, you can establish collaboration within teams and actively listens and engages with your stakeholders proposals and concernsYou keep a structured and pragmatic working approach We offer:
