PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESProviding support to site and remote personnel with company computer systems, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, Mobile and RF devicesProviding training to users on information technology processes, software (including new software and mobile applications) and best practicesSelf-audits, analysis and training to develop best practices and recommendations for IT policy and complianceImaging, deployment and inventory of computers and software using System Configuration Manager software Analysis, configuration of computer systems to meet job rolesNetworking computers, peripherals, IP phones, and mobile devices to enhance communicationMaintaining and troubleshooting IT infrastructure hardware and software onsite or via remote including but not limited to PC’s, laptops, servers, printers, faxes, phones, thin clients, switches, RF devices, mobile devices, Wi-Fi, OS’s, Antivirus, label software, and custom software while utilizing Service Management software and working with Managed Services to resolve IT issuesMaintenance of computers and servers, colocation servers including user accounts, server space, backups (including backup technology and software) and coordination of upgrades with other Information Technology professionalsParticipate in global IT project work including design, planning, coordinating, and implementation as assigned by IT Management teamTravel to other sites to assist on projects as assigned by Management teamManagement of general IT Operations and services for a site or multiple sites including adds, moves, changes, monitoring and reporting as assigned by Management teamRequires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to IT matters of significance which include communication while working on major assignmentsPerforms IT work and upgrades with standard and custom hardware and software across workgroups that affects business operations to a substantial degreeInvestigates and resolves IT matters of significance on behalf of IT Management and demonstrates a high level of technical knowledgeConsults with vendors, users, and local management to determine software, hardware, and system services functional specifications and making recommendationsManages vendor support to resolve technical problemsAvailable to respond to site support after hours is required during outages, issues and tasks having a business impact (occasional)Travel 1 day a week to the Belgium office and at least 1 day a month to Bar-Dattenberg, DE.EDUCATIONBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferredDirectly related work experience may be substituted for degreeIT Certifications a plusEXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLSAt least 4 years of professional experience in a comparable positionMust be an information technology generalist with the ability to attain a broad awareness of all technologies and their functionalitiesYou are familiar with the administration of an Active Directory environment and Microsoft 365 cloud components such as Azure AD, Exchange, Teams, Sharepoint.Strong knowledge of network (LAN, WAN; TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS), hardware and software administrationStrong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, organizational skills and professional appearance essentialStrong technical attitude and ability to quickly learn and apply technical knowledgeExcellent troubleshooting and problem solving skillsAbility to work without supervisionGood communication skillsInitiativeStrong customer service orientationAbility to travel to other sites/countriesFluent English, verbal and written skills are mandatory.
