Function Our internship programme As the IT DataAnalysis Intern, you will play an active role in the Operations department; you will directly work and report to the IT Manager.
This internship will have a duration of three to six months.
Overview of tasks You will be involved in a European project delivering products regarding the FMD (Falsified Medicines Directive) to all countries in Europe.
Your main tasks involve:
Document, update, and complete all knowledge articles in the appropriate Knowledgebase system.
Ensure internal readiness and transfer knowledge for any new process and writing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Excel Advanced Knowledge :
Utilize advanced Excel functions, including but not limited to VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and PivotTables, to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for various business processes.
Generate insightful reports and visualizations using Excel charts and graphs to aid in data-driven decision-making.
Programming Skills:
Collaborate with the team to write, debug, and optimize Python scripts for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
Extract and transform data from diverse sources using programming languages such as Python to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Participate in the development of scripts to automate repetitive tasks, enhancing overall workflow efficiency.
Power BI Knowledge:
Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
Integrate and transform data from various sources into Power BI for seamless visualization and analysis.
Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement through the use of Power BI analytics.
To summarize :
Work closely with the dataanalysis team to understand business requirements and objectives.
Collect, clean, and validate data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Perform exploratory dataanalysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
Present findings and insights through clear and compelling visualizations.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging tools in dataanalysis.
Perform other IT related duties and responsibilities.
Profile What are the requirements? You are a current enrolled BA/BSc or MA/MSc student able to sign an internship agreement with EMVO You are a student in any relevant field, such as Computer Science, Business Management and Administration, Engineering or Information Technology program.
You are familiar with Microsoft tools, Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel You have some programming skills, particularly in Python, with a focus on data manipulation and analysis You are familiar with Power BI and are able to create impactful dashboards You have the desire to go above and beyond and are eager to learn You are motivated, proactive and able to work with cross-functional teams You stay cool under pressure It is considered a plus:
you know software development life cycle (SDLC) and ITIL standards.
