Promoting a safe working environment including staying up to date with new working methods and techniques, will be an essential element of the role along with leading investigations into occupational accidents, incidents and high risk situation, formulating proposals for future reoccurrence/prevention.
Tasks will include supervising the proper functioning of emergency facilities and plans, providing support and information in the event of any deviations. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma Prevention Advisor Level 2, as a minimum as well as experience in a port or logistics environment.
They will excel in taking initiative on actions with the ability to deliver results including being able to demonstrate the ability to anticipate risks, events and obstacles.
Excellent project management is an essential skill as well as a proven track record of influencing, guiding and supporting colleagues.
