Samen staan jullie in voor de goede resultaten van de dagelijkse operationele activiteiten van de area.
Daarnaast zal je nauw samenwerken met de groupleaders engineering van de andere area’s en collega’s van maintenance en tooling & equipment.Jouw ideale jobJe bent verantwoordelijk voor de resultaten en de follow up van het business plan van je afdeling en je zorgt voor een duidelijke rapportering.Je verzekert dat de beslissingen en de probleemoplossing in lijn zijn met de principes van Lean Manufacturing en het Volvo Operational Concept.Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het uitrollen van de engineering roadmap.
Je stimuleert en coacht de engineers om hierin een actieve rol op te nemen.
Daarbij zijn je targets en KPI’s in lijn met de vooropgestelde doelstellingen in de operationele omgeving waarvoor je supporterend bent.
Je zorgt voor een constructieve, open en transparante cross-functionele samenwerking met de operationele afdelingen.Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het continu verbeteren van het engineering proces.
Je motiveert engineers om actief te zoeken naar vernieuwende technieken omtrent werkpoststudies, tijdsstudies en industrial engineering.
Je overtuigt je team om met deze vernieuwende technieken aan de slag te gaan en hierin gebruik te maken onze bestaande digitale tools.
Je zorgt voor de coördinatie binnen het engineering team van nieuwe product - en procesintroducties vanaf de voorbereidende studie tot de eigenlijke opstart.Je stimuleert engineers om een actieve rol op te nemen in het specialisten netwerk.
