This role requires a high level of analytical and conceptual skills, strategic thinking and motivation to drive change.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of finance, business acumen and the ability to collaborate with senior management.
As a GlobalStrategicBusinessController at SoftwareOne, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial performance and shaping financial strategies at a group level.
Your responsibilities will encompass Business Partnering, Financial Analysis, Strategic Initiatives and Business Cases, and Strategic Planning.
Key Responsibilities Business Partnering and Financial Analysis Serve as a trusted partner to the business leaders, offering financial insights to support growth and profitability Evaluate and manage financial performance in the area of sales, partnerships or portfolio, with main focus on revenue analytics Conduct variance analysis to previous period and budget, based on business expertise.
Present financial results and insights to senior management and support decision making Proactively identify situations that require financial analysis and provide recommendations Collaboration with the finance teams in the regions, providing guidance and a platform for knowhow sharing Strategic Initiatives and Business Cases Conducting financial analysis and business cases related to strategic initiatives and global customer offerings Using scenario modelling to support decision making and providing risk assessment Preparing financial reports and presentations to communicate the results and implications of strategic initiatives and projects Strategic Planning and Budgeting Developing financial models and forecasts for strategic mid - and long-term planning purposes Identifying and analysing the key revenue drivers and market trends that affect the company's growth and profitability, in close collaboration with the strategy department and business lines Provide budget guidance to the finance teams in the regions based on the Strategic Planning Process and share knowhow related to sales and partnerships What we need to see from you Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business or related field At least 8-10 years of proven experience in a Business Controlling role, or equivalent, with strong understanding of financial analysis, strategic planning and business cases.
Experience in consulting is a strong plus.
