Your task with us:
to provide all-round support and further develop the systems.
You will work full-time as a Full Stack Developer remotely or from Berlin in our three-person development team - with short communication and decision-making channels and little overhead.
The three of you organize yourselves in an uncomplicated way, create work packages and act independently.
In addition to your dev colleagues, you will have contact with internal colleagues from other departments and external IT service providers (e.g.
hosting) on an ad hoc basis.
The tasks to be completed are small to medium-sized, complex and varied.
For example, you will support and maintain our content management system with CMS (in-house development), close any documentation gaps, implement and test new features or connect internal and external APIs.
Efficiency and pragmatism as well as good communication during implementation are particularly important to us.
You attach particular importance to good documentation and project planning.
Your dev colleagues expect to be challenged by you as a sparring partner.
You won't just be writing code with us, but will be involved in the conceptual design from the outset.
This makes it all the more important that you have a good understanding of software architecture.
What knowledge you need:
Experience (at least 3 years) in web development (PHP, node.js, HTML, JS, CSS), Experience in a frontend framework (preferably Vue), Experience with databases and SQL, especially MySQL, Experience with REST APIs, Experience with Git version management, Experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes, Experience with Linux and command line, Experience in project planning (specifications, tickets, user stories), Experience with Google Cloud is desirable, strong analytical skills and a good understanding of numbers, independent, proactive work and teamwork, German (B2) and English (B2) spoken and written.
