He must try to solve any operational or technical issue to protect our operation in the best possible time.
The Flying station engineer or Flyingspanner performs in the following Key Result Area’s:
Key Result Area 1:
Conveying flight to our African destinations Accompanying the flight from the homebase airport till the return of this flight at the homebase.Providing technical assistance to the aircraft for the duration of the conveying flight, including all stops Key Result Area 2:
Duty in our African outstations Remaining in outstation on arrival of the BrusselsAirlines flight on the location of the outstation for 1 or more consecutive days to take the responsibility for performing technical assistance to the aircraft at landing and departure in this outstation.Accompanying the flight departing at an airport different than the homebase and arriving at an airport different than the homebase.
The FSE is responsible for providing technical assistance to the aircraft for the duration of the conveying flight, including all stops, and in accordance with the regulations and applicable procedures.

Aircraft maintenance Excecute regular routine inspections according to instructions during base maintenanceControlling of the required inspections after maintenance and repairInterprets and analyzes technical issues, conducts troubleshooting, advises aircraft technician with restorations and engineering with preventive measures.Follow-up TroubleshootingSolving of ATL (Aircraft Technical Log Problems)Deliver a release to Service in a conscientious, fast and quality mannerFill in A/C documents in a correct way and enter technical logs in AMOSPerform all tasks in accordance with the regulations and applicable internal procedures.Take care of the maintenance of ground equipment material (cars, tools) and workplaces Key Result Area 4:
