Reporting directly to the EMEA/APAC Group Controller and indirectly to the Plant Leader.This role oversees an annual budget of $255M in value of production, and $35M of inventory.
The plant has a workforce of 390 employees.ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the plant Senior Leadership Team (SLT), the FinanceManager primary responsibilities are:
Compliance:
Provides oversight of all plant related GAAP, SOX and Baxter policy requirementsThe Plant Controller has ultimate responsibility for their plant’s financial records (P&L and BS)Reporting:
Provides relevant, accurate and timely communication of financial performance (past, present, and future)Includes oversight of month end closing, the submission of weekly pulses, the preparation of quarterly forecasts and the preparation of the budgets (annual and long-range plans)Influence:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, MBA or equivalent preferred8-10 years’ experience in manufacturing or supply chain financeBackground in standard costing, budget management and capital analysis and controlProven track record of identifying and implementing changeHas effectively communicated at all levels of the organization in both formal and informal environmentsExperience in a global, diverse matrixed organizationCapable of executing a business case for change by analyzing and leveraging best practicesMaintains a strong presence, with the ability to manage indirect reporting relationshipsExperience working with Lean concepts and tools is preferred Baxter LessinesWallonia
