Job DescriptionAlso in the coming years, the rollout and monetization of fiber remains an important strategic pillar for Proximus.
You will be responsible for the financial follow-up of these activities within Proximus and making various financial related processes more efficient and effective.
Furthermore you will also support the follow-up of the different Fiber JVs.In this role you will report to the finance manager NBU/Fiber.Responsibilities You understand the impact of joint ventures on Proximus' financial situation.
You ensure the consistency and accuracy of this impact across Proximus from a cash and opex perspective.
You ensure correct financial flow between the JVs and Proximus and implement processes to automate them.
You will help draw up the budgets for the work Proximus delivers to the Fiber JVs, and you will also be responsible for the financial follow-up.Together with your business counterpart you are responsible for the further improvement of the planning process with regard to the fiber-related operational drivers (both Proximus standalone and for Fiber JVs) and the financial translation thereof,You are responsible for the monthly reporting of the Fiber KPI driversYou assist in preparing business cases, analyze the assumptions proposed by the business, make recommendations to the business and write Fin Opinions.
Afterwards you are also responsible for the financial follow-up of these projects.You work closely together with colleagues from NBU FIB.
You act as a real businesspartner, but keep a critical attitude and dare to question the business proposals.You act as point of contact for GoFiber, the Fiber JV rolling out fiber in the German-speaking region.You work closely with other financial or support departments (Tax, Accounting, Regulatory, Legal, Procurement, Treasury, ..
.
).
Your Profile To manage all of the above, we are looking for a colleague who:
is digitally savvy with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools and willing to invest in other software applications ( TM1);has very good presentation skills (oral and written)Is well organized and can work within short deadlinesis results-oriented, has an analytical mind and can handle stress;is a very good team player with excellent communication skills;and last but not least is proactive, assertive and diplomatic.
Regarding your education and experience, we prefer a university degree, complemented by at least 5 years of experience in a financial field (auditing, controlling, financial analysis).
Obviously, you can express yourself fluently in Dutch, French and English (oral and written).
