As a FeatureEngineerPayments you will have the opportunity to:
· Get kickstarted on the job via a tailored ‘on boarding’ package· Become a payments expert in Sepa and/or International Payments· Work in a cross border organisation (tribe PSS is part of ING’s CTO Office)· Work on cross border projects and work in cross border teams· Fully work according to bizdevops/agile practicesThe teamPSS processes, for ING Group, roughly 4 billion payments per year, initiated by our customers.
PSS currently uses multiple payments engines across Europe to do so.
Volume is the name of our game, obviously after the exact money transfer for each payment … In this competitive market space, PSS is consolidating these payment volumes on target applications.
While migrating we of course ‘keep the shop open’ and stand for the exact execution of payments at all times.
We also sell these payment services to other banks, a key part of the PSS strategy and expansion.
To accomplish this, we need a fully scalable platform and the team to support the creation and migration to it.
In parallel, we keep pace with the fast-evolving payments market. Think for example to the recent introduction of Instant Payments or even Payconiq. It takes less than 5 seconds to deliver the money on account of the payee, anywhere in Europe.
