As part of IFS, we’ll guide you to becoming a vital contributor in providing our colleagues and clients the best possible experience at PwC. The Ethics & Compliance team is responsible for overseeing the compliance programme of the firm and assists our client-facing teams with risk management, compliance and ethics matters, including training, internal procedures and regulatory issues.
In addition the team performs monitoring and testing of compliance on a series of matters. We are looking for a (junior) Associate to join the Ethics & Compliance team in Brussels, to support the firm’s compliance with risk management standards and legal obligations.Your impactAs a Ethics & ComplianceSpecialist, you’ll make an impact by:
Executing the monitoring and testing programmes, including designing automated monitoringDesigning, and implementing where required, roadmaps to remediate gaps and deficiencies identified during monitoring and testing activities.Maintaining Risk Management and Compliance policies.Supporting the implementation of compliance programmes (including anti-corruption, sanctions, insider trading, ethics and third party risk management).Assisting with the implementation of new compliance tools within the firm, including analysis of functional requirements and UAT, and supporting other Compliance projects.Providing support to the business, advising client facing teams in the moments that matter with regard to risk and compliance issues, as and when they require assistance and guidance. About youWe are looking for a (junior) associate with the following profile:
A Master’s degree and at least two years of work experience.You have an inquisitive mind and a strong risk mindset.You have a natural curiosity and a general interest in compliance and ethics and are looking to advance your skills and experience in these areas. Affinity with new technologies (such as data modelisation and AI), and you’re proficient with more traditional applications.The ability to understand complex processes and how they fit together.You have attention to detail.You are good at following procedures but you can also think outside the box and you enjoy helping others.A quality-driven mindset; you’re also flexible, proactive, service-minded and open to change.Excellent verbal and written English, together with good knowledge of French and/or Dutch.Life at PwC BelgiumOur culture and workplace are something we’re proud of.
