The position is located in Heverlee (Leuven), Belgium.Your Responsibilities:
Perform material tests in the lab according to industry standards and customer requirements.Support Quality team and work closely with Engineering teams from various business units.Write test reports and draw relevant conclusions.Maintain and calibrate the test equipment (some equipment and material can be 10-15 kg to be lifted).Ensure daily compliance to industry standards, Health & Safety regulations and 6S policies.Your Profile:
Electro-mechanical degree (high school/professional degree) or equivalent through experience.Background in CAD software and experience with dimensional evaluations according to reference drawings is a plus.
Some preliminary work experience in a technical field.Capable to focus on performing various tests at the same time.Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team.Very good knowledge of English, Dutch is a plus.Eye for detail, accurate and have a critical attitude.Hands-on.
