WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR EU Institutions:
SAP Programmer and Analyst As a SAP Programmer and Analyst at the EU Institutions, your role involves translating user and functional requirements into technical specifications.
You will analyze, design, estimate efforts, and prototype IT systems while also programming IT software.
Testing, documentation, and user support are integral parts of your responsibilities.
You will assist the support team, participate in supplier product evaluations, and troubleshoot issues.
Your role also encompasses SAP customization and programming with ABAP or Java, ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems within the EU Institutions.
YOUR TASKS Analysis of user / functional requirements Translating functional requirements into technical specifications.
Technical Analysis, Technical design, Effort estimations Prototyping of IT systems, modules, and components Programming IT software (IT development) Testing (unit testing and integration testing), validation of solutions Drafting documentation (technical and functional) including documentation for the support team Assisting the support team with the training of system users Assisting with the evaluation and testing of products delivered by external system suppliers so as to ensure their compliance with the project specifications, and required methodology (if any) Troubleshooting, debugging, diagnosis, user support Participation in meetings with the end users SAP customization Programming with ABAP or Java YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Specific Expertise required:
Expertise with SAP Fiori and SAP S4/Hana Expertise in traditional SAP ERP development, integration, and test tools Knowledge of ABAP, Dynpro, SQL, RFC, iDoc/ALE, BAPI, eCATT and Solution Manager SAP Smartforms Expertise in non-traditional SAP development, integration, and test tools.
Knowledge of XML, WSDL SOA expertise with the SAP SOA solution (SAP Composition Environment) Web Services development in SAP Knowledge of the following SAP moduels will be considered an asset:
FI (Financial Accounting) FM (Funds Management) MM (Materials Management) In addition, following skills are required:
In-depth knowledge of application development Good knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tier applications Good knowledge of modelling (e.g.
UML, BPMN, entity-relationship diagrams) Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g.
SAP Activate, RUP, AGILE, SCRUM, SAP ASAP) Knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS, and HANA) Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, capability to communicate clearly and appropriately both orally and in writing EXTRA INFORMATION DG BUDG Belgium Both employee and freelance competitive contracts.
