WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR EU Institutions:
EnterpriseArchitect We're seeking a EnterpriseArchitect to join our client’s team at European Institutions.
DG TRADE.R4, in partnership with other Commission services and stakeholders, provides high quality corporate solutions/information systems in support of DG TRADE, enabling the successful implementation of the Commission's Digital Transformation and EU policies.
In close collaboration with other Commission services and its customers DG TRADE.R4, builds and operates a portfolio of around 20 information systems in the areas of the EU's common policy on trade with countries beyond the EU borders.
The solution assignment may change over time, according to the portfolio/project/service needs.
YOUR TASKS Create business architecture models that reflect the organization’s strategies and goals Integrate the project and program strategies and ensure alignment with business strategies and drivers, and management priorities Identify ways to reduce costs in IT and business leadership Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities Conduct research to find ways to improve operations Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE The following is mandatory:
Very good knowledge of Share Point with experience of at least 16 years Very good knowledge of MS SQL Server with experience of at least 16 years Very good knowledge of javascript & jquery with experience of at least 9 years Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and configuration tasks Knowledge of jira & confluence Requested skills:
Knowledge of enterprisearchitecture frameworks such as TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman…, and actual experience developing and building models based on such framework Knowledge of enterprisearchitecture notations such as ArchiMate, BPMN… Knowledge of enterprisearchitecture tools such as ARIS… Experience defining and implementing strategies under a CIO or equivalent Ability to combine many different skills and experiences to address and solve business, information, and technology related opportunities and problems Extensive experience with enterprisearchitecture best practices and goals Excellent leadership and conciliation skills Communications skills, both verbal (e.g.:
presentations, seminars, etc.), and written (e.g.:
reports, articles, etc.).
Group session facilitation.
Promotion skills (“selling” the results of architectural approaches through presentations).
Analysis and design.
Modelling and graphical representations and abstractions.
Due to the particular nature of a large international organisation such as the European Commission, candidates should also have the following non-technical skills:
Ability to integrate an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team; Ability to participate in multilingual meetings; Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects; Excellent Team Player Ability to understand, speak and write in English (B1/B2).
French B1 will be an advantage; High degree of discretion and integrity is required as the applications managed and maintained in DG TRADE.R4 contain personal and confidential data On-call services foreseen for this profile:
