Key development areas include:
Coordinating the implementation of the ESG strategy into our underwriting process and productsChallenge and contribute to the development of sustainable product appetites with the underwriting product groups Creating a platform where sensitive products and underwriting referrals can be discussed and providing a link between this platform and relevant councils and stakeholders.Support underwriting in assessing underlying risks in clients business with focus on regulatory, legal, contractual or ESG elementsLeading the contractual and client advice division of the Loss Prevention ServicesSupport claims staff in complex claims handlingDimensions This function serves all marine product groups of MS Amlin Marine N.V.
The success of the role can be measured both through a positive impact on;Our sustainable product development and dynamic appetiteOur loss ratio (both from a prevention perspective in the UW process as well as and from a mitigation perspective in the claims handling process)Client and staff satisfaction and retention in relation to the service offered to clients and adaptive product offering.Underlying these dimensions is the quality of advice offered (internal and external) and the meeting of agreed service levels and turnaround times.
In the context of quality it is important to note that the advice will require a profound understanding of a client’s business operations and the environment our clients operate in and the dynamics in relation to the subject reviewed.
