This could be to microservice-based platforms running on the “on-prem cloud” using PKS containers, automation and configuration management tools such as Rundeck and Ansible and container platforms such as PKS; Linux systems administration tasks and scripting; Responding to and resolving technology-related incidents and service requests, including troubleshooting issues and escalate problems as necessary; Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as data privacy regulations, cybersecurity frameworks, and ITIL best practices; Applying best practices of distributed architecture to solve complex integration problems between information systems and K8s microservices; Configuring the lifecycle of the microservices in a container-based infrastructure; Defining and configuring monitoring dashboards and the alerting policies for the operation team.
Requirements Master's degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with a minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience in IT; Excellent Experience with Monitoring Tools such as Prometheus:
Employed for metric collection, monitoring, and alerting and Grafana:
Utilised for visualising monitoring data, including metrics and logs, for performance insights; Experience with Version Control and Code Repository Tools:
Git, Bitbucket and Nexus container; Experience with CI/CD Tools:
Jenkins Pipelines, GitLab CI/CD, Digital AI tools (XLRelease, XLDeploy, ArgoCD); Experience with Containerization Tools:
Docker/Podman and Docker/Podman-compose; Experience with container platforms such as PKS/Kubernetes; Experience with microservice and Springboot type infrastructure; Experience with Security Tools and Practices:
SonarQube, Docker Security Scanning and other security tools (Sysdig,Fortify); Good knowledge of applications design and architecture best practices and patterns; Knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, message-oriented middleware, event architecture), applications design and Relational DBMS; Familiarity with architecture in the cloud; Excellent command of the English language, French would be an asset.
