In particular for this role, close contact with the quality and local supply chain teams will be required.
Additionally, aligning the local supply chain data strategy with the global vision will leverage the opportunities to solve important business questions. Responsibilities Design and implement the datawarehousearchitecture, data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines using Microsoft SQL Server and related tools.
Migrate the existing datawarehouse from IBM DB2 to Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring the data integrity, accuracy, and completeness.
Optimize the datawarehouse performance, scalability, and reliability, using best practices and industry standards.
Monitor and troubleshoot the datawarehouse issues, and provide support and maintenance as needed.
Document the datawarehouse design, development, testing, and deployment processes, and provide training and guidance to other data engineers and users.
Work closely with other data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand the business needs and translate them into technical specifications and solutions. Requirements Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years of experience in datawarehousearchitecture, design, development, and migration, using IBM DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server.
Proficient in SQL, T-SQL, SSIS and other Microsoft data platform tools and technologies.
Strong knowledge of datawarehouse concepts, methodologies, and best practices, such as dimensional modeling, data quality, data governance, and data security.
Experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, using tools such as Power BI Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.Why joining us? You are proactive, innovative, curious, and bold.
