Model Development You create descriptive, predictive, or prescriptive statistical, machine learning/ artificial intelligence models and combine these models to deliver data products that enable Delhaize to make better decisions, improve the customer experience and become better in its operations.
The creation of models is the result of a careful and exhaustive research into existing solutions, both in a commercial environment and in academia.
Apply agile principles in the model development and industrialization process Innovation You drive innovation within the Data & Analytics team by continuously searching for new data sources, new algorithms, and new technologies to help Delhaize make more scientific decisions based on deep understanding and use of data.
Stakeholder management You can explain the model choices and their usefulness within a product team and convince the product owner/product manager in a completely autonomous way, based on Delhaize's strategy, the state of the art in the field and the available data.
Management of analytical projects and products You manage analytical projects and technical/technological products.
Translate business and/or technology needs into clear deliverables, with clearly defined success criteria and defined and calculated KPIs.
You apply 'Agile' principles when developing solutions.
You have a Master's degree in one of the following areas:
mathematics, statistics, biostatistics, artificial intelligence, computer science, civil engineering, business administration with a data analytics / data science orientation,..
You have approximately 5 years experience in a similar role where you have worked with data science, machine learning, software engineering, data engineering, coding, etc.
Soft skills:
eager to learn, communication skills, curious, team player, listening and understanding, presentation skills,..
Your Technical expertise:
Python, pyspark, Machine Learning, statistics, analytics You speak English, Dutch or French is an additional asset.
