The Opportunity You will be based in Worldline’s Brussels office, working alongside Compliance colleagues to promote a culture of compliance.
In direct collaboration with the Local Dataprotection Officer you will support Data privacy initiatives for the Belgium entity + assist in global projects in collaboration with DPO’s from other countries.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities? You inform and advise our organization and our employees who process personal data of their obligations as per the regulation and other local dataprotection provisions You inform and advise colleagues – at all levels of the organisation – who process personal data of their obligations as per the regulation, local dataprotection provisions and internal policies by, amongst other organising internal trainings.
You monitor compliance with dataprotection law, enforcement of standards and regulations.
You oversee control systems to prevent, monitor and deal with GDPR violations by, amongst other, rolling out Worldline’s internal control plan.

You assess the business’s future ventures to identify possible dataprotection compliance risks.
You maintain a process for receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating, and acting on all requests/complaints concerning the organization’s privacy policies and procedures.
You provide guidance, advice, and act as visionary towards the business regarding compliance by design and strive for the implementation of best practices/methodologies across critical areas of the business.
You review the Art.
30 Register of Processing Activities (RoPA) to ensure that it is up-to-date, accurate and complete.
You supervise the business in the performance of DataProtection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Legitimate Interests Assessments (LIAs) and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs) to determine mitigating measures relevant to the risk level.
You support the Local DataProtection Officer in maintaining contacts with Supervisory Authorities and act as the point of contact on issues relating to processing of personal data, including prior consultation as specified in Art.
36 of the GDPR.
You support the Local DataProtection Officer with handling Data Subject Requests in accordance with set procedures and within 30 days.

In practice this means:
Master’s in Law or equivalent level.
Solid knowledge of DataProtection Laws and Regulations (GDPR, ePrivacy, etc.).
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) or equivalent.
3-5 years of experience in privacy and dataprotection compliance.
Experience in e-commerce, bank, or payment industry environment.
Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail.
Affinity with IT and IT-related projects and fundamentals of information security.
Results driven and persistent.
Multicultural mindset and flexibility, able to work in an international environment.
Excellent communication skills in English and French, both verbally and written.
