Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes to leverage data from various sources into internal data platforms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements and design appropriate data solutions.Develop, maintain & support the internal data platform, whilst offering technical expertise to internal teams and wider stakeholders.Monitor and tune data pipelines for performance and scalability.Implement continuous data quality checks and data validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistencyKeep up with industry best practices and emerging trends in dataengineering.Drive the energy transition with passion and commitment.
Requirements:
Masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or previous experience in a related fieldProven experience working/managing data platforms and architecture E.g.
Data Lake & warehousing design/implementationProficiency using ETL tools and programming languages such as Python, R or JavaStrong SQL skills with exposure to relational & non-relational databases E.g.
NoSQLHigh level of flexibility with the ability to take on multiple roles within projects when needed E.g.
Data Architecture, Analytics, Data GovernanceFamiliarity with Data Governance principles and best practices is highly desirableHands-on experience working across the Azure Ecosystem (Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Cloud Storage) is preferredAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering effective relationships with colleagues at all levelsAbility to work under pressure, contribute to multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesAn Interest in the Energy industry and the Energy Transition is a plus Whats on Offer:
