As this is a Senior position, they are only willing to consider individuals who have professional experience as a Data Engineer/Architect.
Responsibilities:
Designing batch and real-time data ingestion and processing pipelines for Azure Data Lake/Synapse or similar cloud-based (AWS) data warehouse or data lake solutions Work with parameters stored in metadata tables Designing data lineage, aggregation, and reconciliation mechanisms (including monitoring dashboards and alerts) Designing data cataloging, archiving, and disaster recovery Work with data source and data consumption teams to align on data structures, security, and schemas Requirements:
Familiarity with modern, cloud-based data/BI technologies (data lakes, data warehouses, ETL/ELT, Spark) Experience with data ingestion pipelines / ETLs / ELTs General knowledge of Azure or comparable platform and ecosystem Storage Account, CosmosDB (SQL & Gremlin API), Event Hub, App Services Experience with SQL, Python Its advantageous if you have experience with at least 3 of the following Azure data technologies or similar Cloud technologies:
Azure SQL Azure Data Lake Azure Databricks (SQL or Python, Delta Lake) Azure Data Factory or Synapse Azure Analysis Services Nice-to-Have:
Bachelor or higher degree in Informatics, Business Engineering, Computer or related technical discipline 1-3 years of field experience in a similar role Fluency in Dutch and English.
