Design and maintain overall data architecture, including data integration patterns, conceptual information model, data storage solutions, and data processing frameworks.
Define and execute the analytics architecture roadmap.
Ensure data architecture meets non-functional requirements such as scalability, security, performance, information & application lifecycle management, orchestration, metadata, and data quality management.
Keep oversight of overall data & analytics products to ensure compliance with architectural standards and guiding principles.
Act as a quality gatekeeper with internal data engineers & BI developers for newly delivered data products.
Make technology choices for analytics in harmony with the data strategy & data architecture.
Follow up on overall platform costs and seek continuous optimizations.
Maintain oversight on the external partner responsible for day-to-day support of the analyticsplatform.
Actively contribute to and share standards and best practices across the analytics team and its extended network.
What You'll Bring:
Ability to define architectural roadmaps.
Demonstrable experience in architecting and managing a cloud-based Azure dataplatform (ADF, Synapse, DataBricks) Experience in dataplatform architectures supporting different analytical workloads.
Demonstrable experience in third-party vendor management.
Demonstrable experience in infrastructure as a code deployments.
Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals.
Management skills with different internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to act as a team player.
Ability to innovate and take risks using technology, while building a culture of data security.
