Complementary Description Your role:
• Responsible for the daily follow-up of the Customs process; • Ensure that our Customs process is updated and people are involved and trained accordingly;• Act as a back-up of the Customs Officer;• Involve the Customs Officer in operations and support the professional development of his/her team;• Ensure that the actions related to Customs audits or operations meeting are under control and done before the due date;• Escalate and keep informed the hierarchy about the issues;• Ensure that the company rules are applied.
Job Requirements Your profile:
• You have at least 5 years of experience in customs management and you are familiar with current and specific customs software;• You demonstrate good communication skills, good practical sense and a sense of initiative while anticipating and taking part in the context of continuous improvement;• You have a good team spirit and are open and adaptable;• You speak fluently Dutch and are almost fluent in English;• You have a good knowledge of IT tools (Office + ERP).

• You have at least a basic knowledge of French;• You have experience in people management;• You have experience in audit.
Specificity of the job To strengthen our Supply Chain Department we are looking for a CustomsManager:
who will lead and handle all the customs activities of SAESB; ensuring that the process is conform to the regulation requirements and to our authorizations, and will act as a point of contact towards the Customs Authorities.
