Monitoring budgets and operating results by analyzing costs and explaining variances between actuals vs budgeted figures and vs forecast.Business partnering by interacting with relevant departments to improve cost control by recommending actions/changes.Participate in the yearly budgeting process and the forecasting process cycle.Preparing data for and coordinating ad hoc requests from Group and local Management reporting packs.Contributing to the improvement of our budgeting and financial reporting tools, and of our processes in general.Supporting the preparation of the annual financial accounts & audit process.Being the back-up of the colleagues with the monthly general expense report and the cost allocation.Your profileYou have at least a bachelor’s degree in economics or business administration.You have at least 5 years' experience in a relevant position, ideally in the life insurance or banking sector. You are a native French or Dutch speaker with good command of the other national language and are able to work in English. You have knowledge of ERP software, preferably SAP and you are a skilled user of MS Office.You have the necessary analytical skills to challenge the results/figures constructively.You are able to present findings to senior and management stakeholders effectively and clearly.You can work and learn quickly in a fast paced and dynamic environment.You have strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.What can you expect from us?A dynamic company on a human scale within which you can quickly make a mark.
