We value your contributions and will help you learn and grow.Based in Leuven, as a ContractManager your main objectives will be To review, manage and negotiate all contracts with the global Life Sciences business.
Manage the proper coordination of various types of agreements and other contract/legal documents with accounting, legal, credit, insurance, program management, senior management and other organizations, including customers.Plan, direct, control and manage the activities involved with drafting, review, negotiation, finalizing, monitoring and termination of contracts between the company and customers, as well as distributors, to ensure the fulfillment of all contractual obligations.
Develop and administer contract management policies, systems, procedures, methods and training for various employee groups.
Draft moderate to complex, non-routine contractual instruments.
Manage and coordinate contract administration activities to ensure that contractual obligations are maintained in a manner that ensures good customer relations while representing the interests of the company.
Advise management of contract obligations, deficiencies, commitments, and performance.Coordinate negotiations between company and customers/vendors.
Review all contract modifications and proposals for completeness, compliance and accuracy.
Coordinates advice and guidance from Global Trade group and Compliance on various export control and licensing matters.
Participates in contract disputes, claim resolutions and outside audits.
Reviews and resolves issues affecting assigned business unit or compliance and ensures satisfaction of legal requirements, as well as company and customer objectives.
Manages contract change control process, lien waver management and related matters.Develops negotiation strategy and leads negotiation team on complex contractual issues.
May assist in new business pursuits and associated contract strategies.
Works closely with the global sales organization and Legal Department to expedite contract review process.Your Profile:
