Lead the operation in achieving the long-term goals and act as the reference point of contact for your team of warehouse employees, by means of clear objectives, daily consultation, evaluations, training, work accident analyses, sickness absence interviews, etc.
Achieve optimal operations, engage discussions with the planning department, colleagues team leaders, operations managers and various internal support services.
Ensure that safety rules are respected by conducting regular inspections, analyse accidents, convey safety topics, etc… Your goal is to encourage our employee to proactively contribute to a strong safety policy You will be working in night shifts Your Skills and Experiences Experience in a retail environment is a plus, as is working with temperature controlled and perishable goods.
Experience in leading front-line responsibilities is a must, as well as managing large groups of people (approximately 30 individuals).
You know how to form and motivate a team to work together towards a common goal.
Your qualities include drive, independence, and a solution-oriented mindset.
You can adapt to different situations and colleagues and are open to change your approach if needed.
Additionally, you are proficient in creating reports in Excel, using a warehouse management system, and working with other MS Office applications.
