Description You monitor national and international regulations, applicable codes of conduct and standards of best practice, and the regulations, circulars and directives of national and international supervisory authorities relating to compliance risks; You proactively identify and assess the entity's compliance risks; evaluate procedures, controls, policies and guidelines; propose mitigation actions, monitor and report on them; You advise actual management, operational departments and sites on the practical application of the laws, regulations, standards and codes that fall within your area of specialization, including communication of developments in the field and advice on activities and projects (e.g.
product development or organizational changes); You coordinate the actions of all the internal teams/entities concerned by the area for which you are responsible, to ensure consistency between the various interventions; You draw up policies and procedures:
identifying needs, drafting texts, monitoring implementation, reporting; You organize employee training and awareness-raising on related subjects (codes of conduct, Group policies, instructions, communication and management tools); You monitor compliance with legal and regulatory rules of integrity and conduct:
analyze the results of operational department controls and 2nd line testing; carry out surveys; monitor risk indicators (e.g.
complaint rates); observe the execution of customer transactions; You report assessments, observations and risks to corporate bodies, authorities and the ComplianceGroup; You draw up the Compliance Function's annual action plan, based on a risk-based approach.
Profile You have a Master's degree in law, economics, business engineering, or equivalent through experience; At least 5 years' experience in Compliance for insurance, risk management and audit activities (internal or external) in the financial services sector; You have experience in Conduct and Ethics in insurance distribution, or in Financial Crimes (AML/CTF, Sanctions, ABC); You are able to work autonomously, with a sense of initiative; You are organized and structured; You have good analytical and critical skills; You are stress-resistant and remain positive in the face of change; You are flexible and willing to change priorities; You have excellent communication skills and are able to work/collaborate effectively, constructively and results-oriented in a multicultural and cross-functional environment; You are fluent in French or Dutch, and have a good knowledge of the second language as well as a very good knowledge of English.
