Your Impact as CommunicationsManager – SteelWireSolutions (SWS):
You will act as a valued partner to the division leadership team, ensuring thorough understanding of market characteristics, business goals, and challenges.
You will partner with key project leaders to develop strategic change communication plans and related content to support the transformation strategy of the business unit.
You will offer strategic communication supportand counsel to (senior) leaders for articulating activating both strategy and culture.
You will support Bekaert’s SteelWireSolutions spokespersons globally, managing media contact and ensuring timely delivery of agreed messages and materials.
You will define, proactively build, and maintain a relevant network and relationships with key trade media journalists, industry associations, and other relevant contacts to facilitate the division's communication strategy.
You will measure activities against agreed targets and KPIs to inform future decision-making.
About You Essential skills & competencies:
You have minimum of 5 years of experience in employee and change communications, as well as media relations, along with a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Demonstrated proficiency in communication and stakeholder management, including constructive advice to senior leaders, is a key strength.
Your proven track record covers areas such as employee communication, marketing, media relations, reputation management - preferably with an international (manufacturing/operational service) organization.
Strong planning and project management skills enable you to work autonomously or collaboratively to achieve objectives.
You have high personal integrity, ability to communicate in various situations with clarity and resilience amid change are notable traits.
You exhibit excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English.
