Responsibilities:
Lead the culinary team with creativity and enthusiasm, bringing your expertise in Japanese cuisine to the forefront.
Develop and execute menus that showcase a fusion of Japanese flavors in a high-end dining setting.
Craft diverse and captivating menus, exploring both traditional and innovative Japanese culinary concepts.
Collaborate with the management team to align menus with restaurants vision.
Leverage existing contacts within Belgiums supply chain or have the ability to establish strong relationships quickly.
Utilize your network of chef friends to optimize and streamline the restaurants supply chain.
Encourage a collaborative kitchen environment and foster teamwork among kitchen staff.
Provide mentorship to junior chefs, promoting skill development and a positive kitchen culture.
If you have a team of sushi chefs or can introduce experienced sushi professionals, it would be highly advantageous.
An additional incentive may be provided for the successful recruitment of sushi chefs.
Profil Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar capacity, ready to step up as a Head Chef.
Previous exposure to high-end restaurants, whether lifestyle-oriented or not.
Demonstrated expertise in Japanese cuisine, whether traditional or fusion.
A creative approach to culinary innovation, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Existing contacts within Belgiums supply chain or the ability to establish strong connections swiftly.
Possess a network of chef friends to facilitate the establishment and optimization of the restaurants supply chain.
Proficient in English.
Additional languages are a plus.
