Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager on complex procurement initiatives within the IT category.
Manage purchasing and contracts for a specific range of IT products and/or services.
Navigate an international work domain while being based in Belgium.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Secondary Tasks and Responsibilities:
Oversee contract renewals, handling both administrative and operational aspects.
Conduct thorough analyses of the total cost of ownership and engage in negotiations based on these insights.
Generate reports on spend analysis, supplier evaluations, performance metrics, and added value realisation.
Stay abreast of developments in the IT market through targeted market analyses.
Technical Profile Requirements:
Demonstrated expertise in IT product categories and services, or a strong passion for them.
Previous experience in a purchasing/sales or IT project environment is advantageous.
Proficiency in IT applications such as SAP, Word, Excel, and Access.
Familiarity with SAP Ariba is a bonus.
Proven ability in negotiation and purchasing, coupled with a commercial mindset.
Methodology/Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in a commercial, business, economics, IT, or technical field (or equivalent experience).
Language Proficiencies:
Excellent fluency in Dutch and English is essential.
Proficiency in German and French is advantageous.
