It includes work in the areas of strategy & execution leadership, business budget & resource management, sourcing compliance, activity monitoring & measurement, supply chain interface, customer relationship and talent management inputs.
This position will work in partnership across the integrated supply chain of the business coordinating with Supply Chain Planning, Customer Service, Order Management, Commercial and Operations to help, measure and optimize performance across the integrated supply chain from supplier to customer. Key AccountabilitiesLeads development and implementation of transportation & logistics long term vision and strategic direction for Business Group, including long -range objectives, policies and strategy. Direct the execution and continuous improvement of logistics processes.
Own Business' T&L budget and service deliverables.
Accountable for achieving transportation & logistics targets. Integrate market intelligence from operation entities, distribution, transportation, suppliers and customers to continuously improve the service to customers. Direct the activities of coordinators and support staff doing data entry and data management of carrier, customer, vendor, inventory and shipment data.Lead, advise and make decisions on all major logistics and transportation activities.Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions.
